I’m from Warrenton, Virginia and graduated from the College of William and Mary in 2006, where I studied government and philosophy. I couldn’t be happier to serve another fine public liberal arts institution at Fort Lewis College. Before conducting my dissertation research on political psychology and comparative politics at Ohio State, I lived in Szentes, Hungary for two years, volunteering as an English teacher at Boros Sámuel Szakközépiskola. Outside of research I’m an avid traveler, reader, hiker, cook, and dog enthusiast.
